• During your first therapy session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your current concerns, and your goals for treatment. We will also review confidentiality and any other questions you may have about the therapy process.

By creating a safe and compassionate environment, therapy provides clients the opportunity to explore, and heal, from past and present relational experiences that may have contributed to their current distress or anxiety. In therapy, clients can work towards understanding their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, while learning new ways of connecting with themselves and others. By focusing on developing healthier attachment patterns, clients can create a more hopeful and fulfilling future.

  • The length of therapy varies depending on your specific needs and goals.  Clients generally engage in therapy for at least 3-6 months with some lasting about a year. The frequency of our sessions will also depend on your needs and goals.

  • Yes, I offer telehealth sessions for clients who reside in the state of California. Telehealth sessions are conducted via a secure video conferencing platform.
